Can't use that excuse for every home game though can we? Other teams with top 6 aspirations seem to manage ok and it's LR's job to work out we get around that because our scoring record at home is shocking.
Great performance, great result, almost perfect day with Norwich also managing to get a late winner. Just a shame Ipswich won, but you can’t have everything.
Yeah, It's about the most negative performance I've ever witnessed in the championship. Imagine being a Huddersfield fan and having to watch that, feel sorry for them.
I thought Vinagre with his pace and directness as you say changed the game also, could he be used more often as a wide left midfield.
Apart from Ipswich, Watford and Middlesbrough that is, all of whom drew against them. Oh, and West Brom, who lost against them. I agree that we should have won more easily, and it wasn't a great performance, but we did miss an open goal, hit the woodwork twice, and have a stonewall penalty denied, so I'm happy to get three points and let them learn from that. Obviously Rosenior's on borrowed time though, outside the play-offs on goal difference? Rubbish innit.
Nope I’d have said it was the most diabolical boring ****e I’ve ever watched in my life. But football is all about fine margins.
So it wasn't a 'great performance'? Sorry to labour the point but I think sometimes the result greatly influences how we review the game. For me, as usual at home, we huffed and puffed without really looking threatening.
Eh, as someone else pointed out, they've taken points off plenty of other promotion chasers with how deep they sit. It happens.
In a way I'm glad he came on and showed he actually is injured so we can bin the daft rumours about him. Doesn't change the fact his injuries are a big concern.
