There's an easier way than that...Remove the problem.
Someone made the point to inform the concourse staff as
usually they can be heard chattering as the make a noise clearing things away.

My missus had somebody having a go at her in BnQ today as she spoke .
She didn't have a clue it was the 11th or 11am .
Poor show from B&Q for not announcing coz not everybody knows
Bet they know not to go into work. Hope they don’t forget it is Christmas Day and don’t cook the dinner as they went into work.
No, not everyone knows about it, is aware of it, nor want to observe it - and that is their right and it shouldn't be another thing to beat folk around the head about.
However, whether agree with it or not, I fully understand why when a group of ppl are observing it, it is basic respect to not disrupt it and it really isn't a big deal.

I didn’t say she was disrespectful. But I would suggest that an idiot is someone who does not know what the day and the time is. And what sort of person can live for years in this country and not know about the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month?
When I went to school I don't remember once the school having a minutes silence at 11am in the 11th .
They sold poppies for a couple of weeks up to that but Remembrance Sunday was always considered the day of respect .
Don’t know how old you are but everything used to stop at 11 am on the 11th. Can remember seeing buses and cars stopped on the main road into Brid which went past our school.That has down the years stopped. It was first switched to a Sunday during WW2 so as not to disrupt production.,After WW2 they left 11.11 to mark the end of WW1 but used Remembrance Sunday to remember casualties in all conflicts.
