Broadhead, Simms, Stewart oh for one of them today, and who does Mowbray bring in ?
Sorry mate I don’t agree, a £100 million wouldn’t even buy us 2/3 premiership players who would probably be on 5 times what our young lads are on. I can really see that working well. We will go up when we are ready to go up under the management we have now, which to me is spot on.
Broadhead is a wide player. Simms has 2 goals this season both in the same game vs QPR. Stewart is injured. None of them would've made a difference today as we do not create chances for our forwards.Broadhead, Simms, Stewart oh for one of them today, and who does Mowbray bring in ?
There ls a shock you disagree. We have been down this road many times and I bite my tongue (finger?)Disagree.
He sort of has too. His comments are there to see. Listen to them. He certainly has very low confidence in our strikers
Mate, just enjoy the ride, we play beautiful proper attacking football.Im an impatient lad mate and seeing the potential we have and the obvious mistakes from the club is annoying which is why its good to vent frustration on a forum to fellow fans.
Sorry mate disagree again, when we got promoted under Read and the mags got promoted under Keegan, they were exactly the right time to get promoted.Thats based from signing other Premiership players. Mahrez cost Leicester 500k for example?
I dont think theres ever a right time to get promoted, go for it get the money and give it a good go, whilst also making the club stronger. Whats the point in holding back?
Do you really think a small club like Bournemouth and Burnley would be where they are with that mentality?
Ekwahs passing at speed imo is 2nd to noneThought O'Nien played well today outside of the pen and his booking. Was probably the only one looking to move the ball quick.
That extra year in the championship really galvanised the team imoSorry mate disagree again, when we got promoted under Read and the mags got promoted under Keegan, they were exactly the right time to get promoted.

Maye, please don't quote me as it makes me feel like I have to replyAbsolutely not. You have me completely wrong. The fact we have lost 5 or 6 this season already and have 1 win in 5 or so makes it feel that way.
I like positive comments but they have to be backed by reality.

I try to ignore your posts as they are always tainted with a dig at the management or recruitment.
We have been down this road, you post more when we are not doing well, when things are good you barely post.
Probably best to put me on ignore
You have to look at the bigger picture, yes can be frustrating that we aren't in the premier league, but we have a team that give their all, that understand what the shirt means to us and leave everything on the pitch.I will mate but i get frustrated when we have a fanbase bigger than most Prem teams and we make so many obvious mistakes as a club by not signing someone who has number 9 on their back and has a history of scoring in England and has experience.
On a positive note, Ballard is the best defender ive ever seen play for us. He's immense.
Im not trying to be negative mate but what we are lacking and how weve missed out in recruitment was obvious today

I will forgive them all for the odd mistake as long as they continue to give their all for the shirt
Yeah
I'm logging off, at time I wonder why I bother on here....
We go down to 10 men and get smashed 4-0. The opposition go down to 10 men and we scrape a 0-0 draw. I think there is a message in there somewhere.
Today, playing our well known passing game, we gave the oppo time to pack their penalty area. At one time I counted 6 men in their back line with midfielders and their attackers in front of them. Our approach was far too slow. An occasional long ball might have helped. But that is only my humble opinion; Uncle Tony knows a lot more than me - in fact, everybody knows a lot more than me these days.
