Seven games for us in December, must be the same for other clubs ... ... no idea about cup matches tbh, Ipswich are still in the League Cup.
Could get really interesting, especially as I think our Nov matches are all winnable, and we could go into December on a bit of a run.
Their match was postponed last week so theyd had 2 weeks off before Saturday's game. That will hopefully come back to haunt them next year when its rescheduled
Their squad isnt even that good. They have players like Luongo who was at Boro on loan last season and couldnt even get a game for them.
It's a momentum thing....happens quite often. A team winning promotion gets on a run and it takes them to the uppers of the league they go into.As with us in the Reidy days....promotion and then 2 x 7th place finishes in the PL. However,it's not always sustainable, once the momentum runs out.
Pembele and Matete playing U21 game on Monday Alese and Cirkin back in training Seelt ok for Saturday
This is how it should be. Alese, Pembele and Cirkin are all good players but they will have to earn their places in the side. Hume and Huggins have been outstanding
Great news. Really looking forward to seeing Pembele given how highly rated he is. It will be nice to have Alese and Cirkin available, just hope they are fully fit when they get back and get a long spell injury free. Just a view on Seelt but I was impressed with him on Tuesday, he looked very assured in an unfamiliar position and was a real threat at set pieces.
Yep, I remember when right back was the arse end of the team and all left backs had to have was a strong left peg. Not any more....they're key positions in modern football and we've got some good 'uns.
Mowbray said that Bennette asked to play whole games for the under 21s instead of 10 minute cameos for the first team. This was so he could keep match sharp for the Costa Rica games that happened recently. He came back from international duty with a small knock - ankle, I think.
