Been adding a splash of milk in a bolognaise sauce for the last few months. A splash about 20 mins from end of cooking.

added it right at start today, so much better. Used to add a sprinkle of sugar to cut through acidity, but this beats it.
Oi! Spag bol is banging. Right up there with my fave food

Might make lasagne tomorrow.
Might try this milk **** always used sugar

I bought some Whitworths Figs, they come in a resealable pack for £2 (175g). Lot better than I was expecting, proper plump fruit, I was a tad worried they would be too dry but are not. Not sure if every pack is as good as this one, but these are nice.

Not for hetrosexuals though.

Made me want some Manly baked figs with blue cheese and walnuts….little drizzle of chilli honey.
