First half was excellent, played with the pace and purpose we've so dearly lacked for much of this season and Birmingham couldn't live with us.
Another really slow start to the second half which is something we need to address. It felt like their goal was coming for a few minutes before it did and I think a better side would have taken advantage. They pressed us more than the first half and we really struggled with it.
That said, by the 65th-70th minute we settled down and looked really comfortable, and I felt we'd have seen out 2-1 without too much drama even had we not scored.
Sulemana was excellent I thought and gave their right back (who was dreadful I thought) a torrid time. Also thought Adam Armstrong had a good game though should have made it 3-0 in the first half.
Decent atmosphere generally. Bizarre but brilliant to hear a loud rendition of "we're the chapel over here" and it's great to have songs being started from lots of different areas, makes for a much better atmosphere. Thought we largely stuck with the team well too during a tough period.
I managed to miss the rain both on the way to the ground and coming home which was a result.
Great day all round. Icing on the cake was seeing Marian at half time. Can tell he genuinely has huge feelings for the club. What a guy
