" Actually, if strong leadership was the only criteria to place a vote then maybe the answer would not be that hard![/QUOTE]

I'm no fan of Macron, but after recent killings of innocents in France by Islamic fundamentalists, they are apparently considering deporting all such troublemakers without the need for the blessing from the ECHR in Strasbourg, or internal French lawyers.
How refreshing it would be to have that same attitude here, considering how long it took us to actually get rid of the hate preacher Abu Hamza, and considering that Brexit should have meant we were allowed to proactively ensure the safety of innocent citizens and deport those with serious criminal records or who have been found guilty of plotting or carrying out terrorist offences.

Starmer will be continuity Sunak economically.

As a working class Labour voter I cannot see where Labour will deal with growing inequality. I can see how they can make things worse.

Socially is where there will be change. Labour will get a thumping majority, and this will mean Labour will drive through its environmental policies like ULEZ, we will get ecological taxes and this green agenda will punish working class people.

What the country needs is a party of adults and trend buckers that don’t act like sheep in terms of Net Zero, immigration, Climate change, inner city transport, wokeness, anti Semitism and law and order

The Tories and Labour are not that party

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ence-reeves-bank-england-carney-b2426585.html

Ms Reeves, a former Bank of England economist, is hoping to become the country's first female chancellor if Labour wins the next general election.

she did a very good job with her new book " the women who made modern economics" of collating all the powerful stuff people have achieved and written!! [ plagiarism ] Hopefully she will make a nice big donation to WICKIPEDIA! .. I send a tenner a year! wonder how many on here contribute?

PS ........... One has to wonder did CARNY read it before someone [ well a few actually ] noted the word for word passage for passage that the main points are just plagiarised!
