Really odd, I was thinking about his brother the other day (I spent some time with Jack, great bloke) and wondered how much longer Sir Bobby had to go, a real shame. RIP Sir.

i have to admit to similar thoughts. maybe because it was his birthday this month. funny how many of my sporting heroes were libran. sir bobby, sir geoffrey, and ray reardon. and john lennon.

She had 3 sons who represented England at football.

I won a day at York races with Bet 365 many years ago. I took my Dad with me. Bobby Robson was the guest of honour in their box, seeing my Dads face as he came over and introduced himself as he was studying the Racing Post was something I'll never forget. Star struck.... You bet....

Has Bobby Robson died?

If so RIP.

Tributes have been paid to one of Beverley’s most well-known residents, respected broadcaster and businessman David Fewster, the founder of Beverley FM radio station, who died on 18th October 2023 aged 69.I remember him most from the early days of Viking radio when it was worth listening too .
