I very much doubt we'd have been in this mess with Eoin Morgan at the helm, all seems rather pathetic tbh, bowling was shocking and the batting is following suit.

yep. made the score look almost respectable. we can always pretend we'd've got closer if topley could have batted.

says something when the last pair each score twice as many as the next highest. still, the pressure was off by then, and they could go have some fun with zero responsibility.

Just read this, so what on earth is Jofra doing there?

Afterwards, England coach Matthew Mott said early indications are Topley has suffered a broken finger and added travelling reserve Jofra Archer will not be considered for selection, with any potential replacement for Topley to be flown in.

the two current top teams are playing at the moment. they're in the last three overs and india needed five more off 15 with kohli on 95. but then he was out!

I wasn't disappointed to see Kohli out. He'd been milking the strike for 10 overs just to achieve a personal goal, not on imo.

Second game in a row he's done that. Eoin Morgan would be going apoplectic if he was their captain

On the basis of what they've done so far that's about right

a bit of additional info: in this innings, she set a new record score for the women's big bash league, scoring 136no of her team's 229/7 from 59 deliveries and scored a record 11 sixes, including the one where her bat broke and the next delivery with the replacement bat. the other team scored 179/8 (most runs - 408 - in a wbbl game). the previous best individual score was 114. it was the 23rd century in the wbbl and her 3rd, her first being the first century in the wbbl back in 2015.when it started.

No doubt the Aussies will come flying through now and win the bloody thing, just as a few people predicted after they lost the first two. India might have something to say about it mind
