One minute he's retired from ODI's, then he hasn't, then he's not fit but will almost certainly displace somebody else when he is, almost regardless of form. Will he come back in as captain? Who knows, Buttler probably doesn't. I think having retired he should have stayed that way, let the team move on.

If he was not fit to play he should never have been selected.
 
Bit of a reality check this world cup, having been the best white ball team for a number of years, it looks like time has caught up with too many in the squad and we're in for a real fall from grace. Shouldn't be that surprised really, these guys hardly play any ODI cricket any more, esp the younger lads with someone like Brook having barely even played 50 over cricket for Yorkshire.

topley back to get a couple of wickets, but just gone for 19 off his 8th over as klaasen heads for a double-quick 100 and i try to jinx him...
 
They’ve had enough and want to go home too humid and tiring , too long an event and it suits the Sthn Teams more except Holland , they are probably all Boers anyway
 
W'eve mentioned here so many times... I dont know who the England coach is but he wants ****ing.... wasted wickets flicking at balls of a length down the leg side...
