Southampton have had poor form away despite them being a relegated premier league team so we should have been favourites.

Twine looks like hes got a confidence issue so shouldn't be starting.

I dont know what people saw in Lokilo yesterday but he never looked like scoring yesterday when he got into good positions and his crosses were ****e. No better than Longman.

Sinik looked really sharp when he came on against Ipswich but he wasnt even been sent out to warm up in the last 30 minutes.

At times yesterday, Philogene and Delap looked unplayable but yet again, Delap was sent out to the wing with the first sub changes.

Coyle has been one of our most improved players this season but if he wasnt fit to start because of his eye socket then he wasnt fit to come on either.

Vinigre looks great coming forward but piss poor defending and as with the Ipswich game, teams seem to find our left side easier to penetrate particularly later on in games whoever plays in that position currently.

I was also bored with the football for large parts of the match. It felt like we had settled for the draw in the last twenty minutes.

This may be boring, but we do have lots of posters who are a bit ‘extreme’. I know it’s good to have a strong opinion and believe in yourself/be passionate etc., but can we just take a deep breath and realise…

- The football has improved under Rosenior since Shota, but we could be doing a little better.

I’m sure Rosenior realises this himself too. I’m not saying he’s the right or wrong man for the job. Only time will tell. At the end of the season, by all means shout ‘I told you so’, if it helps. But let’s just calm it down. It was a last minute goal, and we were definitely the better side for the first hour or so! I know it’s frustrating, but we have an important run of games now to put it right. If we don’t get a win, then maybe it’s time to worry. But if we continue to be there or thereabouts after them, it’s exciting, surely?

I do have to agree that first half yesterday was a huge improvement to what we have been seeing, and this has been overlooked. I am quietly confident we will go on a good run now.

Also, did I spot Barmby in the crowd? Does he still have a connection with the club? Maybe he can be brought in to sort out the attack? As a coach, of course.

Though he did always keep himself fit…

Good post this IMHO. I don't see why many people get so extreme if you are not calling for the manager to be sacked 12 games in then you're a poodle who wants to give him the job for life.

I'm enjoying the football and I hope we can go on a bit of a run that it deserves.

According to Brian:-

"Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes” – Brian Clough

But he also said:-

“Good managers make good sides. There’s no such thing as a side making a manager” – Brian Clough

Who'd have thought he'd have had a balanced view :emoticon-0100-smile

When was this? I've looked on about 5 different sites and was at the game. None of which have Coyle with a yellow
There was a late tackle on Fraser, which the TV coverage showed as a yellow, but it appears they got it wrong. Didn't see the ref wave a card on screen.

Post from Southampton board, generally positive about us, as many critical views about their own team as our fans.

Thought post below 'interesting' as neutral perspective - noticed when they and other teams start playing out from the back - other defenders are not as close to their goalkeeper and gives quicker ball out generally and less chance of the 'suicide' ball happening

@TigerJools Sorry (not sorry) it had to end that way, mate. You were much better than us first half; second half I think we were slightly better, but proper end to end stuff. Great watch.

Your goalie and defenders are practically suicidal at times. And that's something coming from a Saints fan, trust me.
