Pincher by name, pincher by nature... Boris Johnson.

Bone by name, bone in public...

https://www.parliament.uk/business/news/2023/october-2023/independent-expert-panel-recommends-suspending-peter-bone-mp-for-bullying-and-sexual-misconduct/#:~:text=The Independent Expert Panel (IEP,the House for six weeks.

The Independent Expert Panel (IEP) has today published a report which finds that Mr Peter Bone MP “committed many varied acts of bullying and one act of sexual misconduct” against a member of his staff in 2012 and 2013. It has recommended that he is suspended from the House for six weeks. A suspension of this length triggers the Recall of MPs Act 2015.

His wife was working for him then.
MP for Wellingborough.

The EU showing that the Brexit deal negotiated was too hard and that trade is also affecting them. Nice to see some common sense.

The German finance minister has issued an open invitation to the UK to reach a new deal to improve Brexit trading relations that would reduce trade barriers and “obstacles in daily business life”.

Christian Lindner told the BBC: “This is a standing invitation for the UK: if you want to intensify your trade relationship to the EU, call us. We really appreciate the United Kingdom and its values, its people … and I would really, really appreciate it if we can intensify [the trade relationship] again.”

His comments will come as a surprise to the European Commission vice-president, Maroš Šefčovič, who negotiated the Brexit trade deal, and they throw the door open to the Labour leader, Keir Starmer, who has said he will seek “a much better” relationship with the EU if he wins the next general election.

Did someone say U-turn ....

"The UK government has scrapped legislation
that would have tightened corporate governance rules for large companies after the financial services industry lobbied against the changes. Business secretary Kemi Badenoch withdrew the “burdensome” legislation after companies raised concerns about the cost of the new corporate reporting requirements, said the Department for Business and Trade on Monday.

The legislation was put forward by the government just three months ago."

Someone is keeping a count of the u-turns, I'm sure he'll be along shortly to give you the scores

Looks like Amazon want a piece of this U-Turn action... they have dropped hints at Clarksons Farm S4 after S3 just completed filming.
