We’ve had a good start to the season, probably beyond expectations at least some of the results. But I can’t help but feel it could have been better. We are not good at turning the screw and subjecting teams to consistent pressure. We do need to try and keep the ball forwards more and keep the opposition pegged back when we can.
Deliberately provocative post
And he’s not a physio either when commenting on the injury thread
Mods please

Easier and cheaper for me to take the even faster option of flying down to London for games...Wish I'd ****ing done it today, lashing down with rain, garden's flooded and it's ****ing dreary up here today.(I might dig out my dinghy and go for a refreshment)

5 or 6 hours of London Sun might've lightened my somewhat grumpy mood .

UTT ...1-2.
EDIT...

I dug out my dinghy and went via the Railway.

Liam's still putting square pegs in round holes again. Why did we sign a specialist attacking, experienced left back in Vinagre and then play a centre back at left back? Is Vinagre's fitness still in doubt?

Yes it is

I think he just trusts Greaves at LB more than Vinagre. Mistake imo, but what do I know.

All this about specialist positions is a bit of a tired old cliche. Good players play anywhere l, it doesn’t matter what formations are used.

Which non winger will end up out there then, now our first choice non winger Slater is out? Traore or Twine?

Looks like a 3 at the back in possession. Unbalanced back 4 that work so well last year with Greaves tucking in and Christie being the width on the right. Twine and Traore both sliding in centrally behind Delap.
