Millwall games always conjure up memories of us being close protagonists in the sixties, must be the same for Tom Wilson, another outsider who played for us and Millwall and settled in the area.

Generally close games, and I suspect it will be another close game tomorrow. Have no idea how this will go, but should be an interesting game. Would be happy with a draw though.

I did say earlier that I would like to see us start with 2 wingers, Philogene on one side and Lokilo or Sinik the other. Liam did mention in his presser he is considering this option, so will be interesting to see what team he puts out.
Never forget those 2 games against them in the 65-66 season.
Bit of a scare early that season when York City beat us 1-4 at home, us ending top and them bottom at season's end.
Funny old game!

I took a small Russian contingent to Millwall in 2006 - they worked for SUEK - sponsored the match ball - for £70 each got the name in the programme, a meal before the match - handed the match ball to the captains in the centre circle and sat in directors box - guy I know is an ardent millwall fan and when we were in centre circle i called him and he asked if i was at the game- i suggested that he looked at the centre of the pitch - anyway - at end of match was presented with signed match ball - two captains that day were Dave Livermore who we signed later on and Sam Collins - match ended 1 1 - it was a night game so not a bad night for £70 per head

We won there 10 years ago. I started going to City in 1963 and we won there that season. The only other time we have won there apart from the one 10 years ago was in 1968. About time we had another win there.

We also won in 86 too.

A total of 4 victories from 36 visits. Only 1 of those in my lifetime.

Definitely a bogey ground for us.

2 bogey grounds as we have had little success at the Old Den or the New Den.

****ing laaandan, pity there’s not a fast train to get you there.. Oh!! Wait a minute??? Bastards
Easier and cheaper for me to take the even faster option of flying down to London for games...Wish I'd ****ing done it today, lashing down with rain, garden's flooded and it's ****ing dreary up here today.(I might dig out my dinghy and go for a refreshment)

5 or 6 hours of London Sun might've lightened my somewhat grumpy mood .

UTT ...1-2.

"Ah yes Comrades.....hereski remind so much of old days in Glorious Soviet Republic...food taste like borscht and decomposing eels, people looking just like they do in the gulags, surroundings just like any ar.eholeski village in central Siberia, sh.tski! Nostalgia Comrades is a trick of the mind. We needski to get outski of hereski nowski before I throwupski."

You could have posted that in any eleven of the twelve months of the year.
Awaits someone telling me there's not twelve months in a year. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Very important game today.
Lose we could go into the break in 14th place not sure Acun will be happy with that.
On the other hand win we could be back in the Top 6.

We’ve had a good start to the season, probably beyond expectations at least some of the results. But I can’t help but feel it could have been better. We are not good at turning the screw and subjecting teams to consistent pressure. We do need to try and keep the ball forwards more and keep the opposition pegged back when we can.

Stop being negative and saying we’ve had a bad start to the season

We could possibly discount February, cos it's only 4 weeks? We might see a 40 page argument developing around this one...:emoticon-0118-yawn:
