just seen this on the city board it's ****ing mind boggling just as well the owner has a few quid like

Manchester City has reported an annual loss of £194.9m for 2010-11, the biggest in English football history.

But the operating loss does not include the club's huge sponsorship deal with Etihad Airlines, worth a reported £35m a year, or revenues from this season's Champions League campaign.

Uefa's Financial Fair Play rules, which come into full effect in 2013-14, say clubs must break even over three years.

However the latest figures fall outside the accounting window for that.

The previous biggest Premier League loss was £141m reported by Chelsea in 2005 - when they went on to win the league.

The scale of City's losses reflect the investments made by owner Sheikh Mansour of Abu Dhabi, who has spent more than £460m on players since taking over the club in 2008.

Since then, City have been transformed into the current Premier League leaders.

had a similar problem with bt and moved to sky which has been ok up till now

Was with BT originally and they were useless, had nothing but trouble with them. Ended up getting a refund from them for a service they hadn't given me. Got good help from Talktalk after I called them and it didn't take too long to get everything sorted out.

Alan Pardew, Newcastle
I thought Newcastle would struggle this year in terms of scoring goals and depth of squad but he has managed a small squad brilliantly.
A lot has been said about the defence but the key components have been Yohan Cabaye and Cheik Tiote in midfield with Tim Krul excellent in goal.
It's probably helped that expectation has dropped because of the turnover of players in the summer and there is a sense of realism about the place now.
It will be an acid test for them against City and the question Alan will be asking the players is how long can they keep it going?

A very nice backhanded compliment from Monkey's Heed there, knew he couldn't write a paragraph about Newcastle without making a dig at the fans.

Just seen Neil Buchanan's band live (had no idea he was on until after we'd got in the club). My life is now complete.

How come no one's picked up on this yet? Fantastic! Was he good? I've always been intrigued <laugh>

Saw Art Attack the other day, it's some other little tosser doing it now. Livid, he's ****ing terrible.

Got woken up about 10 minutes ago by someone in the next flat going "GO ON. GET IIIIN <grr>". Watching the Norwich v Arsenal game myself now, it's very entertaining!
