The pundits were saying he real tests are the next 2 games

well we took 4 points out of 6

let’s see what they say

united, Liverpool and Arsenal in our first 7 games.
Granted, United look pretty average, but it’s still 3 tough games. 7 points from 9.
Fantastic start to the season in games we’d have previously struggled to get anything from.

Something along the lines of

"One thing this game tells us, Spurs won't be up there in May. Liverpool were on top with 11, then again 10 and barely managed to break down 9. Nothing off the bench and a fairly average starting 11. Gutting for the reds but we'll be well up there this year."

Huff that copium, ****ers!

You'll need your wellington's on for social media tonight....the Mouser tears are flooding!! <laugh>

Playing against 10 (not necessarily 9!) is notoriously difficult. But we didn't help ourselves today and ran out of ideas. The subs were also strange: taking off Son, Maddison and Udogie for 3 more defensive players when we need to create something special to break down the resistance is bizarre.

The result is everything but the manner of it leaves a few questions.

Pool are good with 10 men so we need to be taking one of these chance but Alisson looking unbeatable

This is becoming England Poland in the 70's

This has 1-2 <standard> written all over it. :(

We’re not getting another. We’ll huff and puff with no end product.

RCL has been cloned

We’re going to fluff our lines here

can sense it

its been a while since we bottled it. We’re due it.

We look bereft of attacking ideas...

Maddison, Solomon and Kuluchevski not posing any threat
And Richarlison is more likely to score an og than a winner for us.

My 2-1 pool prediction looking safe

can’t ever get a result against this lot, it seems. 9 players and we turn to dogshit.

WTF....Maddison off <doh>

Why take Maddison off? Literally our only hope of creating something

Think I'd take a draw at this stage.

They go down to 9 men and we implode ... oh the life of a spurs fan

id have taken a draw at the start, but now anything other than a win is a poor result really.

Like Ange says... hard work pays off...great team work guys <cheers>

Agree BUT we are only 7 league games into a project.
Ange is not getting carried away, he's keeping the team calm on the pitch and allows them to enjoy the highs with the fans without getting carried away.

Son and Maddison come off for the team... no sulks, no hissy fits cos they've bought into the team is all that matters.

We will absolutely go through a bad run of results and the bond and trust that he has built with the players and between the club and the fans will carry him through it.

I'm loving every minute of this but still expect a 6th place finish at best, behind City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and Villa (and possibly Brighton).
