The pundits were saying he real tests are the next 2 games well we took 4 points out of 6 let’s see what they say
united, Liverpool and Arsenal in our first 7 games. Granted, United look pretty average, but it’s still 3 tough games. 7 points from 9. Fantastic start to the season in games we’d have previously struggled to get anything from. COYS
Something along the lines of "One thing this game tells us, Spurs won't be up there in May. Liverpool were on top with 11, then again 10 and barely managed to break down 9. Nothing off the bench and a fairly average starting 11. Gutting for the reds but we'll be well up there this year." Huff that copium, ****ers!
You’ve got to feel for liverpool they definitely deserved something from that game….. actually what am I thinking, **** them, makes it even more funny!! Can’t wait to hear Klopp’s salty tears soon
Based on the state of the BBC Live Chat, which is where I'm grabbing this ****e from, methinks an away day may be in order...
Playing against 10 (not necessarily 9!) is notoriously difficult. But we didn't help ourselves today and ran out of ideas. The subs were also strange: taking off Son, Maddison and Udogie for 3 more defensive players when we need to create something special to break down the resistance is bizarre. The result is everything but the manner of it leaves a few questions.
"Just heartbreaking. A red card that shouldn't have been. A goal wrongly chalked off for offside. A stupid red card by Jota and then a superb team effort until the end."
Agree BUT we are only 7 league games into a project. Ange is not getting carried away, he's keeping the team calm on the pitch and allows them to enjoy the highs with the fans without getting carried away. Son and Maddison come off for the team... no sulks, no hissy fits cos they've bought into the team is all that matters. We will absolutely go through a bad run of results and the bond and trust that he has built with the players and between the club and the fans will carry him through it. I'm loving every minute of this but still expect a 6th place finish at best, behind City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and Villa (and possibly Brighton).
If I were Liverpool, I would be aggrieved with the officials. But I’m a Spurs fan and don’t care! 4 points against Arsenal and Liverpool is fantastic and something that wouldn’t have occurred previously.
