Power is a powerful drug - the more you take the more you need to take. For some people enough is never enough. It took well into old age for Murdoch to hand over the reigns of power. The James Bond shyte sums it up for me.
There's always a billionaire, who can do absolutely anything he wants and could never run out of money. He's always in his sixties so time is running out, his health is starting to fail and he's concerned about his own mortality.
So how does he decide to spend his remaining time.
Seeing friends and family, travelling the world in luxury and enjoying everything life has to offer ...
... no, he sits in a gloomy underground bunker, surrounded by troops and computer screens trying to take over the world!
Just imagine what a terrible job that would be ... sorting out all the world's problems, keeping everyone fed and making sure the bins get emptied so the populace don't go out on the streets to protest.
F**k that for a game of soldiers![]()
For power and, like Blair, to strut the world stage.I think Rishi rat sunak is worth around £750 million, his wife is a billionaire.
Wtf does he want a £150k job a year for ?

Of course I'm just guessing, just as you are.
As I've said it's all about money and always has been.
Thing is, one minute you're claiming Boris Johnson and his ilk are responsible ...
... the next minute you're saying they're not in control at all and everything's run by a handful of clandestine billionaires.
That's total guess work.
The reality is that this is the easiest game in the world to play. It always ends up with someone saying 'you shouldn't believe what they say and do some research' or 'that's exactly what they want you to believe' .... neither side of the argument is provable and no one ever changes their minds.
What I do know, for a fact, is that all of these theories you have are what you've been programmed to believe to divert you from the real truth. There's actually a society that concocts all of these conspiracy theories to take people's attention away from what's really happeneing. The proof is all out there, on the internet, all you have to do is sit at home day and night researching it![]()
You and others admit and know how much lying and corruption goes on yet you turn a blind eye to it and seem easily led.
But hey ho.
Moderna as a case in USA received 10 billion dollars in tax payers money and made 19 bil
Again, schools. The NHS and the fabric of society are being ruined yet some still pay no tax and are earning even more through it.
That is fact .
That is quite depressing mate. Sounds like we are bolloxed and so are our kids.Of course I turn a blind eye, dont patronise me.
I know how it all works and am smart enough to realise it will never ever change so happily get on with enjoying my life despite it all ...
... you might choose to agonise about it all and think you can make a difference but you're just fooling yourself.
I remove myself from their world because I know it's unchangeable, you're dragged into it and can't help yourself.
Apart from being sanctimonious, on here, what do you actually do to change things ...
... absolutely f**k all is my guess.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I refuse to believe I cant have an impact. Maybe I am fooling myself, like you say, but I refuse to be so defeatist. I might fail to have any impact, but I am going to try my bit.
I engage with local councillors and politicians. I volunteer and make a difference in my community. I take part in campaigns directed at things I dont like. Impacts so far are local community focussed, but better than nothing for me. For me I couldnt sit and criticise politicians and media without at least trying to make my own small contribution against what I dislike. Just my view, and maybe pointless, but I get a small sense of satisfaction from taking what action I am able. I am not suggesting I am influencing billionaires, but I am influencing those at a level I can, on a local level, and believe the more that happens the more 'trickle up' will occur and some will see the good they can do. I have seen some tiny wins in big IT companies as a result of opinion. We can but try.
Of course I turn a blind eye, dont patronise me.

Hang on, you said it was all conspiracy theories before
I don't agonise about it.
But talking about what is going on is at least a start rather than pretending it isn't there.
That never makes anything go away.
People are getting more pìssed off with it hence the strikes etc.
Sanctimonious ?
Lol, you need to take a long hard look at yourself fella![]()
It's not deliberate, it's just that the wealthy take advantage of situations as they always have.
Or.......just reconcile yourself to the fact that unless you're in a position to change things or resist these money grabbing parasites, then just get on with it...life is way too short to worry about things we can do sod all about.
Fair enough, you're free to think and act that out anyway you see fit, if others see it differently, is that a problem? Should they be stopped? If not, what's the problem?
The problem, sometimes, is when people are labelled as gullible mugs who are brainwashed by the media ...
... I really get tired of being told 'that's what they want you to think'.
If people are so keen to change the world they should just crack on instead of having interminable arguments on chat forums.
You have to ask yourself, if these mysterious powers actually control the media and information why do they allow Internet whistle blowers to bust their cover and bring their empire down.
Is that a genuine question or guffah though?

It's a genuine question.
I'm always being told that the government are simply puppets controlled by a clique of billionaires and that they control the media and what we're told.
So, if the government and 99% of the population and manipulated by these people ...
... why do they allow the likes of Brand, and other Internet 'whistle blowers', to get away with calling them out?
