HOWEVER I can recall no evidence of previous tardiness from the Ukrainian end, though they would have grounds.

So I revert to my fallback position in cases of doubt and look at the past records of the likely parties.
The FA are a real possibility, I admit, but their records are spotless when compared to The Home Office.
Think WINDRUSH for an example of clerical incompetence.

Yeah he said he needs to get up to speed and learn our tactics so the work permit is no issue because he wouldnt be involved yet anyway.

We've had the likes of Ballard, Ekwah and Ba who've taken time to settle in ...

... we now have Aouchiche who was superb at QPR and good again last night in the shor time he had.

This Ukrainian lad will play like a man possessed imo, from the start.

You can vist France, for 90 days, but can't can't work there without a protracted pantomime of paperwork.

I would assume training counts as work though, and I would imagine we are paying him? Always thought it was odd this sort of thing.

Co-incidentally, this is also issued by The Home Office, but I have no idea whether these are two different departments or if they talk to each other.

But ours is the only one I have heard about.
I'm open to hearing of others.
The fact that our signing was only just completed in time might have a bearing.

All I know is that we don't need him urgently and I'm 100% sure that the club knows it's all finalised and there's nothing to worry about.

Agreed. We've won all 3 games since signing him. As with Pembele, it's a nice situation to be in where we don't have to rush these lads straight into the team

I expect that, as the entire club and squad are transformed, people who like to worry will have to find increasingly obscure subjects ...

... next will be concerns about subsidence underneath the SOL and all the empty Revels bags blowing around the pitch on match days.
