I've binged the first season of "Only Murders in the building" this week.

It's a spoof of the true crime podcast genre starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez.

It's very enjoyable, something to switch your brain off for and not take seriously. The last episode of the series in particular was excellent with a brilliant visual comedy performance from Steve Martin. It had me laughing out loud with it's stupidity.

I watched all episodes so far, they drop a episode a week when the new season it released.

Not enjoying season 3 so far, but 1 and 2 were good.

"The English Game" (Football) on Netflix is very good. Set about 140 years ago when Gentlemen played the game and the working class were left behind until Blackburn started paying players decent money in the 1880 to assemble a decent team.... bit like the 1990s. Give it a go.

Last 2 episodes of Succession tonight. Overall I've enjoyed it, but it's been a bit too heavy on the politics/business speak at times.
Some great characters in there

Finished Animal Kingdom tonight, fantastic end to a great show. Shakespearean.

It's up there with Breaking Bad etc for me. Just more fun to watch.

just watched the last episode of Ted Lasso and have to say have thoroughly enjoyed it, as long as you can get past the football bit and just enjoy the characters and all the social and societal messages within this series it is an extremely clever, simple but at the same time complicated comedy. I don't think you ever really laugh out loud but it can bring a smile to your face and make you think a bit about life in general.

Started watching The Americans which is about two KGB agents integrating themselves into the American 80's way of life. They start a family and start feeling uneasy about twhat would happen to their kids if they were ever caught. Only 2 episodes in but well worth a watch.
