19th July, next Wednesday. I started to re-watch 1st series ready for the second planned to do one maybe two a day so it was finished in time. Watched them all in two days. Only short with 6 x 30 minutes and a 45 minute episode.
Watched Supernatural from the start, got half way through, life got I'm the way, the show was very poor for a few years in the middle, stopped watching it, then it arrived on Amazon, now back to lashing my way through it. One series to go.
I watched fron the very start mate. When it was on ITV 2. Used to love it. Introduced my Mrs to it and she is binge watching it again possibly for the 4th time. I'm not daft, I understand why . I lost a bit of interest though towards the end when all the stuff with God and angels started going on. Much preferred it at the start where each episode was new but the underlying issue of 'yellow eyes'.
Yeah for a show that's frequently stressful to watch it's remarkably fun and moreish. Probably helps that it's funny as **** when it wants to be. Cheers for the info I'll be watching on Wednesday then.
Just finished watching From, it's very good if you like supernatural / sci-fi horror. A couple of the producers worked on Lost so you can imagine there are a lot of surprises. In a nightmarish town in Middle America that traps those who enter, unwilling residents strive to stay alive and search for a way out, plagued by terrifying nocturnal creatures from the surrounding forest and secrets hidden in the town.
It's out today mate. Just watching the first episode as I'm off work today. Pissing myself 5 minutes in, all I'll say is pizza box.
Was a great series to watch in lockdown. So many filler episodes. But at it's best it's excellent with great characters and stories. Comeback to this when your done
All 10 are on there. I have just had to make myself stop and get in with other **** after watching 3 in a row.
Finished it last week. It feels like there were two different writers involved - the original guy whose stuff involving the old crew was excellent, the pigeon, the graffiti guy, the siege etc. and then whoever was writing the new characters' stuff which was noticeably poorer. If I was cynical - and I am - I'd say the attitude from Starz(and therefore Disney) was 'we don't cars about the old characters, do what you like, but our new characters must be x and y'. I think you've got to buy into the character to then buy into the situation and they didn't do the donkey work with the daughter. It was alright to decent. Could have been a lot better. What happened in the last episode wasn't half as unbelievable as the affair, mind
I had to look back to see what show we were talking about . It's just ****ing ridiculous them going up on a hill and burning (won't say what for spoilers) with absolutely no consequences I mean ****ing hell .
Just got a 3 month trial for Apple TV, so we binged the first series of Ted Lasso yesterday. A very funny, feel good series. Will do series 2 today after we are back from watching Oppenheimer at the cinema.
It's absolutely nothing like Ted Lasso and god knows if it's to your taste or not but Severance is a quality show worth a look at while you've got Apple. That and Ted are the two best things on there imo.
We’ve just started watching Zoo, not the brightest bunch of actors in the first few episodes but I will persevere a bit longer.
