I think the transfers are done. They are playing with us. There’s a reason we are doing all the outgoings first.
I think it's a good move for Simons if he can go out and play 30+ games. Think the club rate him highly, but he isn't going to develop on our bench.
I think its a smart move loaning out Simons. He'd really benefit from a full season of football as he's never had one. Its clear that he was going to be bit part here. I'd be surprised if he was too upset - there can still be a future here. He wouldn't be the first player who've gone on loan elsewhere and then come back into our team. I'll be honest I don't really know why everyone is so fussed about it.
The X Simmons one truly baffles me. I mean I get it, it'd be great if he gets 30+ starts this season, but why buy him in the first place if he's not worth a place in our squad?
I don’t cry. Unlike a load of ****ers on here. Still waiting for your reply to my request for my negative posts about City. Maybe you should have a word with Kalman amongst others…
I'm not quite sure I understand. When has a club ever only bought players to immediately bring into their squad?
The only obvious drawback is, we're light in that area. One injury and he's in the starting 11. Obviously Morton will drop him down a place but still, he's only two midfield injuries away and that will surely happen at some point. But like someone else said, I suppose he won't developed sat on our bench waiting for the injuries so it's a case of prioritising his development in the long term over our short term squad depth.
