I think it’s ok, as long as you didn’t take out mag citizenship.

In order for us to stay "sustainable" you had better prepare yourself for it.

Nobody should be scared about selling players, it’s a good thing and allows the club to move forward. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, every championship club who is spending big money this window is doing so having sold a player (or multiple players in some cases) for big money over the last 12 months. We haven’t done that and therefore are shopping in a smaller market to them.

The idea that we were building a club to sell players started when supporters realised that the club was bringing in the likes of Cirkin, Ballard and Clarke who were very good players and likely to attract attention.

KLD is more likely to want success than just running a nice tidy account. If that was the case there are much easier ways to make money.

Of course the club wants PL football, what better way to suddenly have vast sums of money come into the club ...

... people are becoming a little obsessed with this model concept imo.

The club could've easily just sold half a dozen players if that was the goal. If people don't want a sustainable club they must want an unsustainable club ...

    ... which is idiotic.

Just semantics but I differentiate between debate and argument. Debates are worthwhile, arguments achieve nothing and aren't worth being involved with.

I was at Watford away and the introduction of Ba, Matete and Bennette changed the game. Came away really hopeful but none of them have really kicked on since then.

Bennette had two crossing opportunities and both times whipped in excellent balls. I know its a small sample size but I thought at the time he might be the best crosser at the club. I would love to know this for sure, but I’m fairly certain he’s never played a single minute for us (including friendlies) with a striker.

I know he hasn’t done much but I would love to see him given a run of games with a striker on the pitch. He’s more comfortable on the left but I could see him becoming a RW in the future. Scored a few excellent goals from the right (Fulham at home, US tour, Hartlepool). His debut Watford goal was with his right foot.

In terms of his development, he’s probably suffered from our play off run last season. He would have been given more minutes had we not been in contention for playoffs. What the club do with him now is a bit of a pickle.

Just semantics but debates use arguments to arrive at a conclusion.

Of course it will as that is the nature of football but the point is at the minute we seem to be in a building phase, it is inevitable that there will be sales but my point is that "the model"as it is referred to is not really what every body is saying it is

Not really as sustainability and income can be generated from a lot of off field sources as well as player sales

Absolutely, I more mean if someone's had an argument (as opposed to raised an argument that was debated) you can bet neither party was ever going to change their own opinion, they just wanted theirs heard.

Couldn't agree more Smug that is the point I am trying to make at this moment in time we are hopefully building towards something and a lot of the stuff behind the scenes is being ignored and because of the transfer window we are concentrated on first team affairs but the big picture of new sponsors, shirt deals commercial and financial franchising corporate sponsorships, media and social networking opportunities will all be improved over the next few years allowing much mor investment and opportunities. Basically some longer term thinking and planning by the owners which should bear fruit over the coming seasons.

I think SD and CM sold more good players than we have with the 'model' :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Baffles me he hasn't been given more of a chance, particularly off the bench. Showed he got something a bit different, raw pace, and can cut inside and finish.

Totally agree, football has people divided over all subjects, the problem lies when 1 or both parties refuse to listen to others opinions, too many like that otr

Is it normal for flight manifests to have that many spelling mistakes?
