Roscoe back soon, Hemir and Mayenda bubbling under. Rusyn sounds like the perfect signing to support all of that

Hes a striker that can also play left and right wing. He's not a 10 from everything I have read

Aren't they all forward these days? I'd rather a skillful pacy forward than a physical lump, if he can run in behind he will open up space for our tricky players

Think we will have another 3 in another ST Experience Midfielder and a winger and maybe 4-5 sold or loan out (Batth Pritchard and Gooch sold with Taylor and Johnson out on loan out before 11pm on Friday

He plays across the frontline, exactly what we’ve been missing since we missed out on Broadhead. Can play as the 9 while Stewart is out and then can play off him when he is back. Sounds perfect to me

That heat map looks like one you'd expect to see from Clarke.

Do we really need another striker with 3 here and 1 on his way? 5 strikers when we tend to play 1 up front seems way to many and will slow the development of hemir and mayender imo

The lad from Sochaux has been described as exactly that.

I haven't seen the heat map, what site is that on?

@Scout73 has seen the lad play and seems impressed

I say yes if we are playing 2 up front or even if it's someone that can play a few roles

The links on here, a few pages back. Looks like a wingers heat map, all sustained work was on the left, closer to the touchline than inside the box.

Fair enough, I feel 5 is to many when we seem to favour 4231 or 433. Even going 532 the other forward would be a Pritchard or Dack imo

I just found this from last season.

    Position, Apps, goals, assists
    Left Winger 15 7 3
    Centre-Forward 13 4 2
    Right Winger 2 2

He's not a big lad but I don't see that as a problem. We've got Stewart and Hemir and possibly Mayenda for that. You could argue what we're lacking is a poacher rather than a big CF.

I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be pretty tough.

This all reminds me of when there was definitely no takeover ... 'it's just a share shuffle' even when D&M left <laugh>

Honestly, some people are so desperate to attack the club they're making themselves look daft ...

... we keep signing forwards and they're desperately trying to prove they're not the right kind of forwards because they're not Ross Stewart.

Rusyn looks like a Kevin Phillips or Amad who, presumably, aren't strikers either.

Should be 2 upfront at least every home game in my opinion.

A quick mobile forward to stretch defenses, pull players out of position, make space who can also score goals. What's not to like?

You could argue that such a player would suit our style, especially in away games, more than Stewart.

Gives the defence the option of the odd long ball over the top for him to run onto.
Really looking forward to seeing how this lad gets on and fits into the team
