I don’t think so. There are some people who legitimately think there is an asset strip going on and that SR are happy for us to languish in the championship until they make their money back and then sell. Even though I’m not convinced the sums add up on this

I'd take out legitimate, sales are pretty much as expected.

As they probably didn’t value Che as highly. I think that like a lot of our players teams are interested if it’s the right (cheap) price. They aren’t going to know our financials and might think we are looking to trim the wage bill so will accept cheaper fees for players. Or that we are asset stripping as that is what half the fanbase think.

I guess he might be off to Bournemouth if they sell Solanke ? Or he could have thought he was off to Everton and they pulled the plug when they struck a deal with Beto. I didn’t think clubs did they but Chelsea did with Tyler Adams

Looking at their attack it shows why so many saints fans are getting so antsy with ours. Gnonto , sinisterra, Piroe and Rutter. Amazing at least one of the three they already have hasn’t gone yet. Their bid for Paintsil suggests one potentially is before the deadline day ?
Interestingly the bbc have Piroe playing in a withdraw role rather than the sole focal point everyone seems assured he can do. But pinch of salt with that

edit: changed to 4-4-2 on the website and they are 1-0 down to Ipswich who really are on fire

When it comes to players leaving we keep hearing 'he's happy to stay' and 'isn't kicking up a fuss'.

Well let's be honest we don't know if that's true or not, a lot of people think the club lies to the fanbase continuously but not when it's something that confirms what they believe. How do you know Tella and Adams haven't been knocking on doors and whinging every minute they are at the club when they're not training?

I mean no one is going to tell the press or the fanbase.

My brother was told that before Dean Richards (both RIP) moved to Spurs he was virtually kicking down Lowe's door every day. So you never know.
