If they were asset stripping to run, I'd not mind if they sold the entire team if it meant they ****ed off in to the sunset. They're not running off. We're their useful cash cow. They're ****ing terrible owners the rest of you just won't admit it (yet)
Oh how I remember how pleased people were when they first bought us and all the crap they said about saints being a great fit etc. utter tush

All I will say is don’t read the Saintsweb ITKs if you want to retain any enthusiasm.

There will be a monumental meltdown on deadline day if they are right. <laugh>

You are very trusting.

The best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft a-gley.
And you are very untrusting. It’s a text book glass half full and glass half empty situation. What makes you think no replacement will be signed just because it is late on? Or do you not actually think that even though your posts imply that

No I think a replacement will be signed. Our past track record of making striker signings is not good. We have one week to make a vital signing. I want it to work but there is no history of success to look at.

Sports republic seem to be trying to claw back all the money they wasted last season. We have sold £153 million pounds worth of players, while only buying £12.5 million and getting a lot of loans in. This doesn’t scream of a club trying to get promotion. Could be a balancing of the books before a potential sale?
You're having your nineteenth nervous meltdown.

I don’t think it’s a nervous breakdown. From a business standpoint when you show books to a potential buyer, you want them to appear healthy. Wolves are in a similar potion at the minute. The fact we are using a lot of loans seems like a quick fix, not a long term solution.

Fair. Agreed on striker track record. Albeit trying to find strikers who will score in the championship is hopefully a different proposition to one who can hit the ground running in the premier league

I was looking at our outgoings and would suggest we have brought in someone as a replacement for every key squad player from last year. With that caveat being because of Tino.

This is not counting Tella and Che. Now maybe Fraser is the replacement. But I think if Sulemana goes then another might come in. But if he stays I don’t see a “replacement” for Tella coming in - as that will be Sulemana

That's a horrific thought, it really is.

Pilchards was the first to mention Nathan Jones out the blue, about 6 weeks beforehand so he clearly has/had ITK points somewhen.
Fair enough. I don’t have a full track on the ITKs. I’m vaguely aware of three (one seemingly a new one who broke the news of two Friday medicals) and Pilchards was not one of them

But if the long term plan is to be in the PL it is very hard to sign players in the Champ for that level

If these loans help us go up then we can spend next summer.

As I’ve said before we’ve created a lot of chances based on the style of play so far. We aren’t going to need Haaland to come in for a striker to get a lot of chances

What Madge said. Speculations about the club being setup for sale wide of the mark.
