It’s called an opinion

That was the first, and probably last, game of women’s football I’ve ever watched.

I just happen to think Bronze was appalling.

End of my 70 minute agenda, I missed 20 minutes through carrying out my late morning ablutions.

Well, there you go. The pass she completed must have been during that 20 minutes.
I agree in as much that she hasn't been anywhere near her best this tournament. Shame, as that was likely her last WC chance.

Unless she played like Cafu in the 20 minutes I missed due to evacuating?

If that’s the case, I apologise.
 
I’ve seen enough media coverage to know several players by name and what I can’t understand is why Russo was taken off at half time.

From my very limited knowledge I’d have thought she was the most likely to produce a piece of magic to get England back into the game.

wasnt she subbed in every match or close? I liked her too.

Agree.
Also, I get why Lauren James didn't start, but in retrospect that was surely a mistake. She's another match winner.

Read about that previously. Makes you wonder what they would have been like with a full team which liked the manager. Would that impressive 19 year old have got a game? Or would she have been learning her trade City style?

Wupife was watching Pointless the other week? It was a repeat from a couple of years ago after Bronze had won every prize and award going. She had won UEFA Women’s Player Of The Year, the Globe Soccer Award for women’s best player and the Best FIFA Women’s Player apart from club honours. Anyway, there was a round where there were pictures of sportspeople. I recognised most but didn’t recognise a basket ball player which 15 did and an athlete which 18 did.
The only pointless one who nobody recognised was Lucy Bronze.My wife loves football but didn’t have a clue about her either.

That was obviously done before the last Euros, as anyone who watched them would be well aware of who she was.

She had just won all the awards I stated. Would a male winner of the UEFA and FIFA player of the year awards and the Champions League and Super Cup have been pointless?I will happily walk around Hull with a photo of Lucy Bronze and give you a fiver for everyone who can name her if you give me a fiver for every one that doesn’t.
