Well done Brian Harman... Just shows that the game is not dominated simply by people who can smash a ball 350/375 yards down a fairway. He is a breath of fresh air...comes across like a solid bloke as well
the rainy weather has screwed the plan up, unfortunately. Three planned outings have been mashed into just the one tomorrow with my nephew/cousin, but even then the weather looks ****e. will have to postpone a round at Castle Eden this time chaps. Next time I’m up, defo up for it … with a bit more notice.
Shame mate. Enjoy your round tomorrow and I'll be definitely up for a game next time you are visiting.
It's a shame for him tbh. Class player but never seems to get over the line. Scheffler, Rahm etc have overtaken him at are pretty ruthless at the business end of tournaments where Rory always seems to fade.
Think it's the last 3 Sundays I have watched on sky and he's a couple of shots back but never having a real go. As I type this, he's just hit a putt that if I had done I'd have said was close for him he missed by a country mile
Ha, anything within about 6 inches I class as a close one. Not that I play much these days unfortunately, haven't got enough hrs in the day with the kids and their stuff.
I loved playing it. Wasn't very good tbh, anything under 100 was a good round but it was good crack and few of the lads were right into it. Hard game to master but brilliant when you hit one sweetly.
It is now he's shagged that tee shot into the rough Edit, looked.like the rough, but was the fairway. Doesn't matter, he didn't hole it
Nice to see the opening round of the pga tour championship proving a huge challenge to the players. Leader through 10 holes on 13 under and one in the club house having shot a 61
