I think Lowry is a better big game player. I don’t see Meronk coping with the Ryder cup. Good to see Shane getting his putter going again at the Irish open. No idea wtf Rory was trying to do on day 4 though. He can leave that form behind

I think the teams are quite balanced. Way more than I would have said 6months ago when I thought we’d get rinsed

can’t wait!

Same. Suddenly we have 3 of the top 4 best players in world along with Hatton and Fleetwood who had very good PGA seasons. Rose experience and a couple of very decent first timers. Should be close but reckon we can do it.

Sorry for the late response mate....I'm currently in Majorca but glad to see my secretary has answered on my behalf <laugh>.

Thank you for the second proposal I was unaware but very much appreciated. To be honest I haven't played much due to work commitments but that said, I'm very much looking forward to beating that venomous bastard Somb :emoticon-0115-inlov(one day)
I didn’t second you mate, just offered on here as did @Peterleeyacker.
I hope you’re enjoying it though, it’s a cracking club.

I thought the Solheim Cup was the one where men and women competed together (and the last one was won by a woman) but it's actually the female Ryder Cup. What's the one I was thinking of? I remember it being a good watch.

I not a great watcher of women's sport...Football, rugby, cricket...can't stand it. But the women golfers are excellent and have a great talent for the game. really enjoying the Solheim Cup. So as for women's sport...its cricket and beach volley ball :emoticon-0105-wink:

Solheim Cup deserves merit.
A great competition and proving yo be an exciting one this year.
Wets the appetite for next week

It was the Scandinavian Mixed I was thinking of, different tees for the women but a level playing field otherwise. I enjoyed the last one I watched.

It highlighted (in my opinion anyway) that it's one of the very few sports that men and women can compete equally at, once driving distance is taken out of the equation anyone can win.

Big day tomorrow. Loving the Hovland Aberg pairing. Big John first up as well. Hope it is a really tight affair all the way through and Fleetwood wins the cup on the 18th on Sunday

It ain’t over yet. There’s some needle in this, we need to want it more and smash em
I think we will have enough personally. Thought we looked a bit jaded this afternoon, but I wasnt convinced USA were that great. Take Cantlay and Homa out and they still looked to be playing below their rankings.

The US captain reckons there's a mystery illness going about in their camp and that's why they've been losing. If it's bad then they wouldn't be able to play and if it's a cold then get on with it and don't use it as an excuse.

It sounded like bollocks, as I said you're either ill or you're not. Did Cantlay only find out about not being paid once he'd started? If he knew in advance and had a big problem with it why is he there? Sounds like a tosser.
