It seems as though Leeds are genuinely trying to sign Divock Origi, but to do so they have to shift some finances around. I wondered at the start of the window if Dan James might be a target, but the finances involved would be astronomical and he started their first three games (though he played with his head down, didn’t look happy). But they desperately want him off the books and for a club like ours that’s ambitious, it fits the mould.
Did cross my mind and wondered if a similar deal could be done with them a la Barmby in 2004. But if we're being pure to the mystery winger canon - he's technically not English is he?
He's from round here. Went to South Hunsley and was in our academy for years before moving to Swansea.
He would and then we could all like him instead of thinking he’s a diving cheating **** Like he was before
We're trying to sign players, not teenage mutant turtles. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Like most on here, I’ve been researching who the mystery winger could be and I’ve narrowed it down to 3. I’d be extremely shocked if it’s not one of these: KLP - Has not been given the game time his ability deserves at Brentford. Would explain the high price tag rumour too. I would love this. Though I don’t see how the Alfred clue fits. Dan James - Alfred, split it up, could be AL (attacking left), FRED (Former RED - Man Utd). He has history with us and would also fit what we are crying out for. Again, I don’t think he’ll be too happy where he is - who would? Ryan Kent - Someone has already suggested this and I believe they figured it out (sorry, I can’t remember who). I think Baz thought Alfred was Superman’s butler, Clark Kent etc. When I saw Alfred that was the first thing my brain thought of - bizarrely. So, which do we think it is? Or does anyone think it’s someone else?
That Alfred thing is a red herring. Baz is not going to post clues about a player he isn't allowed to share the identity of.
As Alfred was Batman's butler and Superman didn't have a butler, I think your logic is rather flawed.
