Interesting article that Milky . The very murky business of buying and selling. Must say wish our lot had the balls of Daniel Levy. He doesn’t sell cheap.

If we have to let Gnoto go, I hope they refuse to budge until they’ve got at least the minimum amount they want and bang a 40% sell on clause.
 
If this is not 'tapping-up', what is? Gnonto is off to Everton, apparently, with everything agreed but the price. So either we allowed them to speak to him, or they tapped him up. Personally I'd insist he puts in a transfer request, which will lose him his 5% cut of the deal (or does that not happen these days?). I'd also double his price to £30m - minimum. So, so disappointed if he leaves. Only striker we've got that can hit the byeline & cut back accurately.

For a kid (yes he's a kid) who's got Inter Milan, Juve and Freiburg all chasing him. Going to Everton would be a stupid move. He's going to be in a Relegation battle and will probably try and get another transfer in 12 months time.

Personally I’m fed up with hearing what Gnonto does or doesn’t want
Now reached the stage where he needs to **** off
When he came in I was encouraged by his style of play unfortunately the personality of the lad leaves a lot to be desired just got a feeling he’s going to come a cropper tough ****

Bring him in tomorrow morning with his agent and tell him to commit to us publicly or play development league whilst training with the u18s for a couple of seasons. See how Mancini likes him playing that level.

We have the power to ruin his career the little ****. He wasn't that expensive and his wages are nowhere near some of the others. Just stand the money in order to prove a point.

Does he really care he nust wants the money. He came to Leeds with his family in tow and probably still with him. I read a post on tinternet at the end of last season saying his family had moved out and left where they were living. No way was he staying at Leeds and he can go with my blessing..... The grabbing little shytt.

I think if we can keep hold of Sini and Harrison Gnoto is fine to let go and get some cash for. So they can fight between them for LM. Would rather keep Summerville for the RM position to fight with James. Can then have one of those 4 playing CAM, think Harrison would do a job there and Poveda could be worth a shot there as well. Then sign a ST and we’re sorted. Well still need a LB and RB as well but I think Byram might be our LB as I don’t think Firpo is going anywhere.
