    U18 Premier League

    Stoke City 1 (Hayder 55’)

    Leeds United 6 (Brown 26’, 38’, 75’, Gorman 66’, 71’, Vincent 67’)

Look to the future, not back to the past.

Unless there is a clause in the player contract stating (unless x other players have already left) or (subject to compliance with fifa loan regulations) which, lets be honest, there won’t be… then the player contracts will take precedence and we’ll have to let them go AND take any punishment.

    Which would be very Leedsy

Cam Archer apparently unwanted at Villa. Open to a sale. Asking price close to 20 million.

Would be a great signing and that's 20 goals right there.

Just had a text from a Villa mate, saying just that, Villa fans rate him but it appears Emery doesn't. He said its in 1 of the local rags, Leeds are 1 of 3 Championship clubs interested along with Sheff Utd.

It's still there for us if we want it.

These aren't rumours btw. This is just Emu's wish list.

    Cam Archer - Villa (striker/winger)
    Illias Chair - QPR (playmaker)
    Lewis O'Brien - Forest (midfield)
Charlie Taylor - Burnley (a ****ing left back)
Tom Trybull - Blackpool (Central midfield/Centre back)

That's before we even think about any more outgoings.

I don't think many of us are sad to see any of the bottlers leave, it's the manner they've left and the lack of replacements that's frustrating.
We're down to the bare bones now, surely it's time for action from the board, 2 weeks to get 6/7 players is a hard ask but they have to go do it, probably just to consolidate this season.

The idea was to have Hammond setting up deals and then we brought in the guy from Spurs to help him. So far all they seem to have done is do deals getting rid of players.Mia don’t think we have any cash until we sell

We had some for the Aaron's deal that fell through but as you say, looking likely we need to sell to get In the full quota needed.
Gnonto has to go now just because the way the fans turned on him at Brum, I think the club know this and are playing hard ball as they see it as a way of driving up the fee, let's not forget, Zurich are due 30% of it, so it will need to be substantial, his fee and that of Adams should do it but it needs to be done quickly.

    Who's Mia :emoticon-0105-wink:

A big negative now though has to be the 49ers selling the club to potential targets, because to everyone, we must look a complete ****show at present

We’re all guessing. Everyone thinks Farke is a straight talker and he’s hinted at FFP issues. So if you’re the benefit of the doubt type (crazy trait for a Leeds fan I know) … maybe there’s a reason for outgoings first. There’s also loads of interconnecting deals so that player x isn’t available until player y at that club moves on etc. It’s why they need to have multiple options for any deal.

Or they may be cheapskate chancers.

I’ll reserve judgement until transfer deadline day has passed.

    Decent list Emu.

Re Archer, he was overshadowed a bit by Akpom’s goals last season but I know a few boro fans… one’s who understand a bit about football (yes they humour me) and they all rate him.

Another short arse though… so we’d still be lacking target man/hold up options.

To be completely honest, swapping Gnonto for Archer would be good business. Gnonto burst on to the scene but was worked out rather quickly.

Gnonto better as a wideman, archer as a striker I’d say. I’m being harsh on Archer’s hold up play.. he can link play, just not a physical/unit. Plenty of sides get by without one.
