1. you cannot assume any player gives you 10 or 14 years. they sign for 5 unless they are idiots at Chelsea. 2. when you are at the upper end of the good chain you can forget 100mil fees the lesser clubs demand of certain idiot clubs. we don't get to sell on for that much 3. you cannot ignore the going rates even if they are scandalous. you can only call them what they are.
