As I keep saying, perhaps 'the Stewart situation' is already sorted and supporters are winding themselves up needlessly.

The injury means me might end up keeping him if we go up. I think he would have been away this window without that.

All Idle speculation of course. Someone might still take him. And Christmas window will be interesting.

Aye. Change of tone from Mowbray. Think it's the first time he's referenced Stewart being here beyond September

Complete conjecture, but someone suggesting the proposed Lihadji money could be used to bump up the Stewart contract offer. That's certainly a self sustaining way of working

If he plays and we're promoted what chance would Boro, Stoke, QPR, etc have of signing him ...

The contract offer (from us) surely changes at that point too

Would we go back in for Buckley at Blackburn for the midfield? (Linked with him in Jan I think). Mowbray would obviously know him and still only 23 with 100+ games under his belt.

Good shout Buckley though thought him and Morton who I think was on loan from Liverpool were both decent on Boxing Day although I think Buckley gave the pen away? Could be wrong

Probably a safe bet to assume he was on the list TM apparently has handed to the recruitment team. Would his data be good enough for them to be convinced it's a good buy?
