I thought that and I'm still pining for the Fulwell End terraces <laugh>

I was told they've spent more on the hospitality than half the squad, upwards of £400k ...

... once they sort out tickets and merchandising it'll be like a real football club at last.

Aye they have got to get a grip of the commercial side but seems like that’s the last part that’s failing.

Progress has been immense, real shame that it’s the fan experience that’s lagging.

Improving corporate is the quick win and means we can charge more and generate decent income.

The 'normal' fam experience of tickets etc needs serious looking at.

Every extra pound we make goes towards the playing squad and must be maximised

The company behind Stack are setting up the fanzone for the Mags.

Club could do far worse than partnering with these kind of people to bring the fan experience to life.

Whilst it a great idea, we are currently struggling with digital tickets and merchandise stock, so I guess there are more pressing matters

Aye, which is kind of the point. You partner with people who know what they are doing, and it’s done quickly, and well.

This wouldn’t be high cost to the club to have people devise plans for the pre match, and fam engagement would benefit.

They can make money from food, drink and additional merchandise sales. There’s 40k every home game and these people have a budget to spend on match days. For the club this is a revenue stream.

Match day experience isn’t small fry, it’s massive for the cities economy and should be for the clubs too.

Does my head in. But then logically, it's got to be one step at a time. Hopefully by next season were run much better. Shame about the strip deal tho, this iron on badge is awful, especially considering they've tried to make it look stitched

I fully agree mate. Every avenue needs exploring and maximising.

When the new ffp rules kick in and wages is strictly linked to turnover, it will hurt if we aren't on the ball.

Aye they always there mate, switches to 50 from 70 as you come over the crest it’s utterly deliberate, as it switches to 50 there’s also cars joining so sometimes slowing us actually less safe. They hide right under there.

If they are ‘primarily a deterrent’ and not a money grab, they wouldn’t hide them in the shadows.

Aye but if we all skint but the clubs got money for a player out our pockets, then it softens the blow <laugh>

Mind, I think the training gear is bang on this year bought a few bits already likely to land with most of the range.

Hoping they do a nice track top with the old badge on. I ain’t a gilet guy.

I can’t believe there’s people saying our squad isn’t too big. Of the bench today, you’d have to shed four, then another four wouldn’t get any game time then you have to add Seelt, Alese, Embo, Matete and Stewart to it at least (I’ll leave Evans out for now) plus we’ll still be adding a couple more new signings.

Injuries, loss of form, changing tactics are just 3 reasons why it's not that bloated imo

Hahaha as long as they spend it on who I want. I’m looking after a few of the projects that have already began at the sheepfolds and was speaking to someone from the council about the development the other week. They’ve bought most of the land now so in the next few years I think there’ll be numerous places there that are a decent place for a drink before and after the match.
