This is a good first team, but would need an increase in squad depth to work. Those 3 CBs aren't going to go a full season without injury/suspension, so then you are bringing in Smith and have no other back ups. You might as well sign a couple more wingers and then you can stick to the system Rosie has been preparing.
You can, but then squad availability defines your tactics, which I don't think is a good place to be. If we were to play a back three I'd want 5 experienced CBs so that a change in system only comes about when there is a serious suspension/injury problem or you want to play differently because of the opposition. When Steve Bruce used a back three we had McShane, Faye, Hobbs, Chester, Bruce and we used all of them regularly.
Probably not, which is why I'd stick to the current and system and try and add depth in more forward areas - which is what we need to do anyway.
I guess you missed the Fish/Dolan years We had so.e pure stinkers back then. I still loved my team mind
I think Glasgow is quarter protestant, quarter Catholic these days? The other half are so spaced out and searching for their next hit that they don't know what planet they're on,never mind what religion they are...
I did actually consider posting exactly what you've said but thought it may be a little obscure. And only understandable by board saddoes like thee and me!
Think they're both pretty two footed to be fair. Both scored goals for us with their left feet which must be unusual for right backs.
Why are we even bothering having a manager, seems everyone on the thread is an expert footballer manager
I think that's a bit unfair on the many of us that don't get involved in fantasy team picking? I couldn't pick my nose, never mind a starting line-up for a Football match.
