As much as LR likes to think he's a real pull and has a style that players will fall over themselfs to play....the cold hard fact is he's still a rookie manager with no real pull for top quality players. He and the club can dress it up however they want but the cold facts are that a fair number of players just haven't wanted to come paly for him and his style
What, you mean we aren’t getting our first choice targets….LR said we are

We've attracted the likes of Seri, Tufan, Christie, Darlow and Vinagre has pedigree.

I very much doubt there's been an increase of decrease in managerial pull whether it was Shota or Rosenior tbh.

We payed daft wages to attract players last summer, that was the pull, we can't do that this season. Darlow loan was win win for him as it's showing with him getting a move and pretty much the same money he was on. As much as he loves his time here he came to get himself in the shop window as opposed to another 6mnths of not playing

And its what every club and manager will tell you, so what's your point?

Rosenior can’t lie straight in bed?

The uncomfortable fact is the club and Rosenior don’t have the pull to get the players they want and need to be a top 6 team so we’re signing players who only played 4 games all of last season and Donny Rovers flops. Every goalkeeper we’ve been linked with has ****ed off elsewhere to play for proven managers in this division.

Wasn’t Seri on the verge of going to Saudi Arabia last summer before we improved our offer?

For all the good work Acun has done off the field, the work done on the field has been below par. Last summer ****ed us in terms of FFP and the players we can afford now don’t want to play for an inexperienced coach.

Right, but there'll be there's other players in that situation. I absolutely agree that Bournemouth, Leeds and Middlesborough were always going to bet him before us as son as they became interested but you can't have it all on the manager, it's the stature of club and financial package available to do the deal as well, and location comes into it as well.
It's often been the case over the years at all levels that if city put the same contract in front of a player as a London, Central Yorks, Midlands, NW or NE club they invariable don't chose us.

I'm just a bit surprised you lumped that on this particular manager tbh.

Seri had to be begged, literally begged, Acun admitted he chased him all over. Christie had nothing else seemingly and Darlow agreed to come on loan rather than sit on the bench knowing this summer he would be needing a club to buy him so having some games on his reel would be useful.

I will give you Tufan but surely that is just down to his friendship with Acun and not being drawn to the delights of the East Riding? I dont think he came for Shota.

It was clear before that Steve Bruce and subsiquently Premier League football was a pull for players. They aint coming here now unless they are in the last chance saloon or kids being loaned out. Why would they? Nobody other than some City fans think we will be anywhere other than lower mid table.

Óscar would’ve scored more goals than Haaland this season if Rosenior was manager since last summer and we would’ve won the league. FACT.

I think if he hadn't missed so much football towards the end he'd have scored 15 in hindsight.

Still, we might yet be counting his benefit to us in millions before the window closes, so silver lining eh?

I've not lumped anything on anyone, I've just ( as I always do ) posted what I'm hearing from players and or agents.

Can you imagine what Rosie would have done with Wilks, he’d have met oranges expectations…unfortunately he only met mine and was moved on, Which consequently cost orange £10, but hey what’s my point :)

Cos the Wendies a bit too.

What a waste of talent he was. That second season his ****ing arse was massive and played for a move.

But the his attitude was always more sus than his ability.
