I hope your right but we seem top heavy with midfielders and even allowing for injuries its going to be difficult for TM to keep them all happy.
I actually think we still need to sign a CM, we need another cdm type since evans is out for a while.

Matete will leave then i think one of pritchard or embleton will go

Neil ekwah bellingham n rigg seem the best 4 at the minute, Ba could play there as well but i think hes bettwr from a wider position

Note - when i meant the 4 best ones at the minute, im meaning in the deeper cm positions rather than the no10 role

I think Embleton is worth his place in the squad personally. He has a canny knack of making things happen. I thought he was playing well last season beford his injury. He is good with both feet, gets his share of goals and can open the game up. He is only 24 and for me deserves another season to see what his level really us. 40 games for England age groups - I think there is untapped potential with him.

He has undoubted talent but doesn't use it enough for me, especially when he starts, sometimes the game just passes him by. With his talent he should be imposing it more. Always seems to play better when he comes off the bench. All my opinion of course.

I know what you mean. He has been played all over the park. Maybe Mowbray is the man to put him in position that will see him thrive.

I like Embo, don’t get me wrong.

Just looks to me like the most disposable as things stand.

That versatility can be seen as ‘not stand out at anything’ and much as I like the lad, that’s the reality. He’s solid, but is he stand out at anything?
