They just sold a Swedish/Bosnian lad to Ajax. Felix Gyan at Sassuolo, Nicholas Zalewski, Gianluca Scammaca, Davide Frattesi, Lorenzo and Luca Pellegrini, Alessio Romagnoli, Matteo Politano, Pizza Vulcano, Tagliatelle Pescatore, Pepperoni Calzone...

Okay, those last three were items from an Italian Restaurant, but they consistently produce international players and at least three of the above have represented their country at full international level.

ok, but apart from Felix Gyan, Nicholas Zalewski, Gianlucca Scamacca, David Frattesi, Lorenzo and Luca Pellegrini, Alessio Romangnoli, Matteo Politano, and that Swedish/Bosnian lad they just sold to Ajax…what have the Romans ever done for us?

What if Greaves gets several offers but wants to go to Villa or Brentford instead of Roma? Or their players don’t want to come here?

So far the confirmed incomings are:

Liam Delap (loan)
Jason Lokilo (free agent)
Rúben Vinagre (loan)

Given we’re apparently looking at 5-6 incomings this summer, not including academy players, that’s another 2-3 to expect unless Óscar and Greaves go. Woods may stay and Docherty won’t be sold now this summer on account of his injury. Think Fleming will go permanently if Cox joins. Longman needs to go out on loan. Sinik may go as well.
Confirmed by who?

I honestly don't get this Greaves love in - we were certainly better defensively after Rosie moved him out of the centre - often out of position, too slow, constantly pulling shirts and grabbing hold of attackers, poor header of the ball and worst of all breaks up our attacks by constantly stopping and passing backwards, usually hospital passes putting others under pressure - nope, don't get it - if we manage £5 million it would be a major coup in my humble opinion

Have you ever watched him?

The offers that are needed are considerably more than £5m. City aren't going to accept less than £8m, a **** load of add ons and a loan back. In the case of Roma, there'll almost certainly have to be a player thrown in as well. Maybe Longman

That post will take some topping.

Alfredo Morelos is still available on a free. I'm surprised nobody has gone in for him. He has the worst disciplinary record ever, but as far as free agent out and out goalscorers go, surely somebody in the Championship or bottom half of the Premier League would take him?

If we could get 8 million with a year loan that’s brilliant business. Also I don’t care what people say Greaves will make a top level player, just won’t be for 2/3 years. Like
Most centre halves.

Maybe the Morelos from 3 years ago. Not now

A player we were supposedly linked with in January, Lamine Diack, might face us on the 29th as Nantes have made a bid of €2.5 million for him. Currently plays for Ankaragücü.

Not a chance..watched him every game last season..he's lazy..moody...stubborn and needs 10 clear chances before scoring...all well and good up here but not for league 1 or above

Simons is impressing me more and more. He looked a level above from a physical standpoint yesterday he was everywhere. Seems to have a nasty side as was always leaving afters in. Would love to see him next to Seri as Slater & Seri in that shape really doesn’t do it for me.
