Castro and Urika will be putting you on ignore mate, having the pure audacity of Twatterising a post on here that shows a City fan in a Hull FC shirt, poor bloke’s probably hoping that there’s some rugby league goalposts in the shop that he can tear down.
I aren’t sure that’s the case more physical then slater and now he’s fit will charge about i liked him against Norwich in that role. Not convinced on Slater winning the ball anyway we are lightweight in midfield.
I disagree. Top clubs loaning their up and coming players if they do well both helps the parent club and demonstrates to other top clubs HCFC can develop their talent. We are not in a position to buy such talent right now and until we are back in the PL this is a sensible option
I dont know how much this is smoke, but Kesler says re Greaves that if 3 or 4 offers are on the table they will have a discussion with Roma... he also mentions Harry Vaughan and Roma too... I know TK is enthusiastic but!!!! https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tan-kesler-reveals-key-details-8597713
Well I don’t think I can be anymore against that fuxking **** if I tried Terrible plan or idea or whatever the **** it is In the same way I don’t want shelbourne as our junior partner I don’t want to be Roma’s junior partner
"He's a good footballer, so for me, it's something we need to assess and see if he's right for our squad moving forward. I want competition for Ruben, Brandon is in our squad as well - I want competition in every position and it's a decision we'll make moving forward." Sounds like there's no problem with Vinagre, just waiting for international clearance.
I don’t like it either. Everything about it screams City being a feeder club to Roma. They might put a positive spin on it by saying it’s a mutual partnership but in reality it will end up with us signing Roma’s academy players on season-long loans and them poaching our most talented players. We’d effectively be developing Roma’s best prospects for them and selling them our best prospects. How does that benefit City in the long run?
Isn't it more the case that we will get first refusal on youngsters Roma are selling. It also sounds like Roma will be given first refusal on players that are going to be sold but at the going rate, not just handed our best talent for buttons. I'm sure we might loan some players also but only if there is a belief they are good enough.
He also mentioned that theres no bids for Greaves and that he is still interested in working something out for Connolly.
Yeah sounds like Baz jumped the gun on Connolly. Interesting he said he's planning on Greaves being a big part of the team this season. Not sure he'd say that if he knew there's a decent chance he'd be sold
Yeh it was a decent interview tbf, put me at ease a bit with him saying no need to sell anyone and I'd be really pleased if we keep Greaves. Even if he does eventually go there's no need to encourage the sale, if someone wants to pay a huge fee fine.
