Yeah I've heard about that, seriously though, as a player do you really want to base achievement around that, but as club and country, end up potless. The only scoring record I ever paid any attention to as a child was Dixie Dean having scored 60 goals in one season, or Der Bomber, the great Gerd Muller achieving a golden boot with some record and non of which were from penalties. Oh and of course not forgetting Geoff Hurst's hat-trick in World Cup Final as winners. Sorry, remind me again, what has Kane actually achieved on the same levels as the above, just one piece of club or country silverware, surely that's not too much to ask of a 'world class' player?
Well.........he did actually beat the England scoring record of a player (Wayne Rooney who won multiple club trophies) who beat the England scoring record of the player (Bobby Charlton who also won multiple club trophies at the same club as Wayne Rooney) who actually won the World Cup with England
