Fosse can never be wrong because Leicester won a trophy and he enjoys being relegated.

Yeah I've heard about that, seriously though, as a player do you really want to base achievement around that, but as club and country, end up potless.

The only scoring record I ever paid any attention to as a child was Dixie Dean having scored 60 goals in one season, or Der Bomber, the great Gerd Muller achieving a golden boot with some record and non of which were from penalties. Oh and of course not forgetting Geoff Hurst's hat-trick in World Cup Final as winners.

Sorry, remind me again, what has Kane actually achieved on the same levels as the above, just one piece of club or country silverware, surely that's not too much to ask of a 'world class' player?

Well.........he did actually beat the England scoring record of a player (Wayne Rooney who won multiple club trophies) who beat the England scoring record of the player (Bobby Charlton who also won multiple club trophies at the same club as Wayne Rooney) who actually won the World Cup with England

Take it you don’t watch much football.

Kane has played and scored in PL, CL, World Cup, Euros.

    Is that not top level?

Lots of top players have carried on at the same level when they hit 30. I’ve seen nothing from Kane to think he can’t

Kane surpassed England's second-highest goalscorer of all time Bobby Charlton (49) on 7 June 2022 with his penalty against Germany, having equalled Charlton's tally three months prior against Switzerland; also from the penalty spot.[3][4]He equalled Wayne Rooney's record of 53 goals on 10 December 2022 in the 2022 FIFA World Cup quarter-final against France with a penalty in the 54th minute,[5] and surpassed it in a UEFA Euro 2024qualifying match against Italy on 23 March 2023 with a penalty in the 44th minute.[

Kane also got a World cup gilden boot with 6 goals, three of which were (you guessed it) penalties <laugh>

Aye and the only time he’s taken an important one when the pressure was on, he fcuking missed and had us knocked out of the World Cup <laugh>

He’s had about 25 penalties for England. Madness.
