There must be some ancient Spurs goal scoring record he hasn't broken yet

Yeah I've heard about that, seriously though, as a player do you really want to base achievement around that, but as club and country, end up potless.

The only scoring record I ever paid any attention to as a child was Dixie Dean having scored 60 goals in one season, or Der Bomber, the great Gerd Muller achieving a golden boot with some record and non of which were from penalties. Oh and of course not forgetting Geoff Hurst's hat-trick in World Cup Final as winners.

Sorry, remind me again, what has Kane actually achieved on the same levels as the above, just one piece of club or country silverware, surely that's not too much to ask of a 'world class' player?

Well.........he did actually beat the England scoring record of a player (Wayne Rooney who won multiple club trophies) who beat the England scoring record of the player (Bobby Charlton who also won multiple club trophies at the same club as Wayne Rooney) who actually won the World Cup with England

This probably meant something in your head when you posted it, ****ed if i can work out what though.

It doesn't matter when you get older your legs go and 80 million for a player that's best days are behind them is a great deal imo.

Take the money or end up with **** all.

Lots of top players have carried on at the same level when they hit 30. I’ve seen nothing from Kane to think he can’t

Kane also got a World cup gilden boot with 6 goals, three of which were (you guessed it) penalties <laugh>
