Yeah I’ve been to Alykes just next to the dry lake had a good time nice beachHalf way through a 10 day stay in Alykes in Zante.
Really chilled out, and much cheaper than Lindos where we usually go in the summer.
Just took redundancy before we came out - 12 weeks garden leave, so looking for all of august on another Greek island. Any suggestions?

Love going to Greece and the islands we’ve been going for over 40 years different islands time and time againWent to Skiathos beginning of May, bloody cold and pissed down 7/9 days. In the two days where the sun was out, it was fantastic. So good in fact, we’re going again on Saturday. I’ve been to the Greek islands around 20 times, this is one of the best.
We went to Ios, flew to Santorini from Newcastle and got a ferry there, only took 30 minutes, less busy and much cheaper than the popular islands. Planning on doing a three week island hop next year when the Mrs raps in work.Love going to Greece and the islands we’ve been going for over 40 years different islands time and time again
However you are restricted to certain islands from our airport
You can go to many more from Manchester

Always found the canaries to be good value, I did lanzarote in September and wasn’t too pricy was 2014/15 thoughA question for all you lads, hope you can help me with. Our lass and my daughter have just said they are going abroad around the beginning of September. Could you recommend anywhere to go for around the
£1500 mark between them as we are going away quite a bit ourselves and money will be a bit tight with this unexpected new holiday. Normally I would go but since we got Lily
( dog ) I don’t like to leave her. Flying from Leeds/ Bradford would be nice but any Northern airport is ok
