That's because the subject was Covid and the war in Ukraine and I was specifically referring to articles talking about those subjects.
That last sentence is inaccurate. I have regularly pointed out when inaccurate information about Labour politicians has been passed off as fact.

OK- fair enough :emoticon-0148-yes:

You're right. The issue has been made worse by an opposition who would usually have sorted themselves out over a couple of electoral cycles still struggling to do so now.

The electorate have been fed up with this lot since well before COVID. The opposition have managed to make themselves look a poorer option each time it's been put to the test though. They'll get in next time but it's by default, which is very dangerous waters.

I can accept most of that.
I'd like to think that the next election would be decided on the policies offered by each party, to the electorate however I may be somewhat nieve in thinking that.

You've just literally said the tories got in by default if you re read your post - but that was OK?
Away with the fairies you lad. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

The bit where you said the tories were so bad the electorate were fed up with them but the opposition manged to come across worse - that's the definition of getting in by default.

Give it a rest man. Laughable trolling surely :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Where in that post did I say it was ok.

Big letters, nice and bold, there's a good zealot.

Ha ha - just the bit where you said it was dangerous if Labour got in that way but didn't mention one iota of an issue the fact the tories got in by default. Thereby impressing that was ok by you.

You'll wake up one day and admit to yourself at least you've been taken for a fool by the bullingdon boys and their ilk I'm sure. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Carry on trolling for now though :emoticon-0148-yes:

So I didn't say that.

You saw what you wanted to see.

Glad we sorted that out.

John Cruddas has spoken out loudly today about the way the Labour party is being run. I think he is spot on. I have posted before about the way they are selecting candidates and expelling others. The treatment of Lawson for liking a tweet by a green politician was always going to cause trouble. Starmer and co seem not to care though. Well Cruddas, an MP for 20 odd years has called the current party right wing and illiberal and says Starmer is conducting a witch hunt. The noise around this is getting to loud to ignore for Starmer, he needs to moderate his approach and fast. Warning bells have been ringing for a while for me, getting a bit louder lately.

He's selling his book isn't he?

He's been spouting the same stuff for twenty years but, for some reason, hasn't been able to leave the party.
You think labour voters would demand better wouldnt you.

On this occassion I think his point is valid. To expel a labour supporter of 44 years, who wrote speeches for Gordon Brown and has spent his political life doing all he can to bring down tories, for liking a tweet from a green MP shows the current labour party in a poor light. Just my opinion, but they are treading an unsavoury path.

You seem to be searching for, and finding, ever more obscure reasons for Labour supporters to be concerned.

What you've just claimed there, in bold, is absolute nonsense ...

... you're just seeing what you want to see tbh.
