I don't think we lost out on having him here,do you?I thought he was a joy to watch and a touch of class.Roll on the days when we see talent like Snodgrass coming to our Club again.
I don't think any Longman, Sinik, Vaughan or Covil are good enough if we are serious about a playoff push. So 2 wingers are needed at a minimum. If Sayyadmanesh can get back to the player he looked at the end of the 21/22 season he's a player at this level, but he looked a long way off last season.
He didn't, but he scored 7 in 20 in our ill fated PL season under Phelan/Silva, not many more had a bigger impact that season in terms of goal contributions.
Didn't we make a profit on him? He was also a big factor in us getting promoted and was the main reason we had half a chance of survival the year after
I'd happily take more players of his level, as theirs almost zero loyalty in football anyway. But doesn't change the facts of what he did or what he's like ( which was the original point )

“The only problem we had this season from the beginning is he has been injured. He struggled a lot with his ankles and was not fit." Ohhhhhh....
I don't disagree. We just need someone who's a bit more proven. They're all young players and we need a better balance. I say the same at centre half too. We're crying out for an Alex Bruce/Wayne Brown/Paul McShane type
Seem to remember him coming for 7m or thereabouts and was a high earner. Think we made a profit on the fee so not so bad I guess. Think I just remember being frustrated he seemed to be injured a lot.
