lets see if Arsenal up there bid apparently he wants to stay in LondonHope he goes to Arsenal personally. But will probably end up on City's bench on 300k a week. Yawn.

ChooooooooneI suspect Mowbray has asked a few people if they understand the expression 'knock your block off' in his time ...
... I doubt anyone will be allowed to kill the groove DJ.

What sort of system is it that a club can take a bloody 14 year old?
Utterly shameful. And BTW, he could not possibly pick a worse club for himself. I'm assuming though, that it will be the best move for someone else .
Random one I’ve thought about for a while, would anyone take Brandon Williams from United? Definitely a quality player in there but his attitude has been shocking last few seasons. Can play both sides too.
Something in me would like to take a chance on him but the other side of me wants Cirkin and Hume as our full backs for the foreseeable.
Yes good luck, but ask your mam to stay here in players lounge, she seems to brighten the room up.
I still think there's a player in there, but he's not progressed the way he should have, so this is a big move for him. Whether it's fitness, attitude, homesickness, too many distractions etc. as to why he's not progressed is anyone's guess. I know he was ill during the back end of his first season with us, and had treatment in Germany for suspected meningitis (he was in hospital for a good few weeks) which might have stalled him a bit, but that doesn't explain why the loan move to St Gallen flopped. In the end the club has moved on and left him behind and you can't see him forcing his way into consideration. Moving him on is best for everyone.
My guess is he was given a chance early last season to be in the first team squad regularly and didn't take it. Mowbray said he was one of the cleanest strikers of a ball at the club, yet he was invisible when he had games, so they basically made their minds up before Christmas to move him on. The loan to St Gallen was the last chance for him to prove himself to us and put himself in the shop window and get a decent move, but failed. It'll be interesting to see what happens in Split for him.
We know what we’re getting with simms I like him but the signing doesn’t get me excited it’s an odd oneSimms I read us on the radar...hmm in two minds about him.
CorrectMy understanding is that if he signs a 2 year scholarship today, which takes him up until he's 18, it makes very little difference and that next summer as soon as he turns 17 he will be able to sign a professional deal with anybody else. The compensation we get wouldn't be that high.
So the only difference its bringing, as far as I know, is that he isn't going yet. The big "securer" is his first professional deal.
Exactly the way I understand itLooking forward to finding out exactly how the Chris Rigg contract is explained by the club later. I'm really confused by it.

Obviously its great he is staying now and it bodes well for future. I just hope that people aren't misinterpreting this as meaning he's secured now and we will end up getting a big fee if he does leave etc.

Shouldn't we look on it slightly differently though.....he's committed to us now....if we progress as we all hope,he'll have opportunity with us to progress his career alongside? Why do we need to assume,at this stage, he isn't going yet,but will at some point later?
