He's on £33,000 a week at Trabzonspor, that would have to be a very generous loan deal on their part and not something I think they'd agree to.
We'd have to buy him and he signed a three year deal plus an option this time last year.
It wouldn't just be class business, it would be bordering on suspicious if he was to sign for us on terms we could afford.

Keeping Óscar if we sign another highly-rated striker just doesn’t make financial sense. The owner has told us we can’t spend lots of money because of FFP restraints so if we sign someone like Maxi Gómez or Haji Wright this summer, we should cash-in on Óscar and get the highest possible fee we can for him.
Same as the recently departed Pelkas then?
Just a thought.... maybe the delays in announcing incomings might be something to do with the new Roma deal. Who might be coming from there...
Didn't answer my question, there is nothing to say that we're going to cash in on him, he might be putting more money into scoring goals and less into other areas (that could be filled with loan signings)
If Tetteh played, week in..week out, like he did vs WBA he wouldn't be here this coming season. Lacks the consistency and fitness to be a top player, sadly. Hope I am proved badly wrong. On the keepers, would Darlow have saved that shot by McBurnie? The one that sneaked in at by Matt's near post.
A fit Oscar with good service would get you 18 to 20 goals a season.
An unfit oscar got us 13 goals last season so I’d say he’d get a fair few more than 15, especially with decent service

Pelkas wasn't on what Gomez is on and I don't know what Acun's relationship with Trabzonspor is. We negotiated Pelkas down because Acun is friends with Ali Koç and they wanted him out so they could give minutes to Arda Guler and bring in Bruma and Lincoln.
Yeah, tbf I think the majority were early in the season then when Tetteh got injured he went off a bit while still getting a few goals. I think decent service and fully fit he’d get about 20/25
We were still paying the majority of Pelkas' wages. I reckon with Pelkas gone and Oscar sold, financially it would free up enough for someone like Gomez.
Has anyone actually any indications that we are talking to these names that are being thrown about as though we are in for them, followed by discussions about who they would fit in with , who would have to leave if we got them…Or are they all just idle supposition with about names plucked out of thin air? Kalman is always mentioning Haji Wight. Is that just someone he would like here? Same with Gomez. Has there been any actual interest from the club in them?
Have we mentioned we are interested in him? The club that is, not people on here.
