Misread mate. Sorry.

Even so, is it so bad? The stuff KLD has done re the first team, and the academy is immense. I am forgiving him another yeat or two yet on the peripheral stuff. He came into a complete mess I think. So far we are a different animal in the priority areas.
To be truly sustainable we need every penny maximised commercially, there have been plenty of issues off the field, least of all the away fans issue.

Have a read through the meeting minutes and see how many SD has said he would look into and how many have been done. It's not great.

I dont see it as a negative to want the commercial side to perform as well as the football side, the money is vital

I'm surprised we've signed another centre back. I'm finding it difficult to assess the situation with regards to our plans.

It's safe to say that Wright will leave and Anderson will go out on loan.

That leaves definite centre backs Ballard, Batth, Triantis and Seelt. We then have Alese and O'Nien. Either we want them to compete for other positions (LB and CM) or we're going to play 3 at the back. We wouldn't have 6 CB's to play a back 4.

Then of course there's Zak Johnson who won't be in the first team squad next season so might be out on loan too.
Still think we will play a back 4, roberts n clarke are suited to our 4231 formation - there will be games where we drop to a back 3 tho. We need to be flexible n be able to play a couple formations.

I think our CBs will be ballard, baath o9 then the 2 new lads. Alese will be used more as a LB next season. Hume n huggins as RBs then gooch will be cover as 3rd choice LB n RB. Think the recruitment team learned that we need depth at CB as lack of CBs cost us in the playoffs

I hope not :emoticon-0106-cryin

Cirkin and Hume alongside a back 3 then a midfield pair of Ekwah and Neil is negative as **** and leaves us basically with Stewart, Clarke and Roberts. It’s Southgate-Esque.

Depends on the WB are used. We have perfect players for it.

Plan.

Bellingham to drive from midfield (media tomorrow).

Business isn't done. The CM one would be really go TBH. Contracts to still come too. Club have turned into a PR beast. Staggering the lot with it already done.

Samon pants will be turning in his grave the stupid Tory gimp .
What type of CM is it mate? More a sitter like evans or box to box

This all sounds really positive. Not playing with a number 10 is surprising. We're hopefully after more wing back options then, I really wouldn't like to see Clarke get played there at any time next year.

I'd like to see us set up 433 at some point next season, Clarke and Roberts as wide forwards with 1 central striker.

Midfield 3 of Neil, Ekwah and A N Other, should get us higher up the pitch and strengthens the middle of the pitch with 3 in there

Think speakman has said that bellingham will be used as a 10 next season - thats his best position at the min

I wonder if we will play like city do in terms of a defender stepping into midfield more. I know hume did it at times last season but hes quality at retaining possession, id love to see games where we play that 3241 formation when in possession.

Isolate clarke n roberts against fullbacks n cirkin or alese tuck in

Think we will have so much versatility next season, will help make small tweaks in game to cause teams problems

I agree with all of that, but the numbers at centre back don't add up to me for that. I wonder if someone else is away. We're going to have either one of our new CB, Alese or O'Nien who aren't going to get on the bench most weeks.

It doesn't seem a practical way to utilise the budget imo, unless we're going a standard 3 at the back. I have complete trust in the club though, so I'll wait and see how it pans out. I just can't put the pieces together in my head yet.
