Transfer Rumours transfer thread fact and fiction

James Olley (which has been RT’d by Dan KP) says Al-Ittihad are planning a €60m + bonuses move for Son with a €30m a year contract on the table.

If true, we better tell them to do one, unless Sonny himself signals his intent to leave. Any player that gives service like he has I’ll always respect their decision if they want out, especially for a fat final payday and/ or a chance to win significant silverware.
Better yet, tell them we have a better option

Fancy paying us €60m for Ndombele?

So if we don't sign Raya, O'Queef was right
But if we do sign Raya, O'Queef was right
On the other hand, if we sign Mamardashvili instead of Raya, O'Queef was talking crap because he got too bold and floated GiGi Vicario

Did I miss any scenarios?

take it or leave it?

Not saying Son would go

Spoke about it on the page before, bro.

I wouldn’t sell him unless he asked to go as I’d respect his wish after he’s done so much for us.

Sounds like he wants to stay though - crazy guy, lol.

We're being linked with PSV's Xavi Simon's. Really exciting young talent who had a phenomenal breakout season for them (22 goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances), but given the length of his contract and the fact that PSG have a buy back clause, won't be cheap.

Stat-padder.

Don’t think he’d cut it in the Prem, albeit that’ll probably be famous last words.

Can everyone stop massively overpaying for Chelsea's rejects? They don't need the money and don't deserve nice things. Ta very much.

It's just the Saudis and The Woolwich Emirates at the moment.
Ban the lot of them. <ok>

"unlocked quickly" = nice and cheap

Anyone know anything about this lad?

Any good as an alternative to Raya or is this shaping up to be the latest edition of SkriniaRodon?

Nothing beyond a quick bit of google. Was called up to the Italian national team for the first time last year. No idea if he’s the kind of keeper who is good with his feet. I’d hope he is because that seemed to be the attraction with Raya (as well as his HG status) but have spent too much time supporting Spurs to assume such a thing.

The fact that Raya is HG and some of the other keeper options mentioned aren’t probably affects the rest of our business too, particularly when considering Kilman or the guy from Fulham we were considering vs say, making Lenglet permanent. Again I’d hope we’re also looking at a more exciting left sided CB to partner Romero in any case.

Inter have been linked with him as a replacement for Onana, who's being linked with a move.
Chelsea and Man Utd are after him, apparently.
This Vicario stuff may be because of that.
