Remember when some Turkish fans on Twitter were accusing Acun of using City to buy Fenerbahçe players at inflated costs? I don't know if it's true or not, though Allahyar and Tufan were quoted as £4.5 million and £4 million, respectively, which seems a bit steep.

Anyway, I'm convinced a lot of these recent signings by Saudi and Qatari clubs is something similar to that. Saudi clubs are buying a lot of Chelsea's deadwood in particular which is helping them out FFP-wise.

I do agree but I do remember Adebayor saying I’m here for money
It’s not only my family it’s my village I’m supporting.
    No idea on neves situation
Just as bad is jakupovic who coulda been our number one but went to Leicester for a little extra and never played a game

£10m for a player to go and player for a club with an average attendance under 1,000.

It's just a weird, backwards move. For a young, talented player at a top 6 Portuguese club, the next move up would be Italy, Spain, Germany, France or England in terms of progression.

Not sure, I just remember seeing him last couple of times we’ve played them. He looked better than brum, ran all day and loved a tackle

We got Tufan for £3.5m including add ons and Allahyar was only 2m euros as Fenerbahce get a 50% sell on.

Tufan had a buy option of Watford of £7m and they supposedly paid a £1.6m loan fee too. So we actually got a pretty good deal from Fenerbahce. Whether they were worth it is another issue

Allahyar was reported as being £2m, Tufan around £3-4m and the Fenerbahce inflated fee thing thing is a load of bollocks. .

Which players have Chelsea sold to Saudi clubs, I can't think of any?

Yeah, I don't personally believe Acun is using us to funnel money to Fenerbahçe. Just using it as an example of what could be happening with the Saudi clubs.

Koulibaly, Mendy, Ziyech and Aubameyang have been linked to Saudi clubs in the last couple of weeks. Todd Boehly has links with the PIF as well, allegedly.

They've had a couple. Chong is one, Hannibal was the other. Both are from Man U originally, think Hannibal was on loan and has now gone back but Chong is at Birmingham permanently now.

They've still got to get those players to agree to go there first and at least one of them, Aubameyang, isn't having any of it.

They haven't actually gone yet, there's just interest from Saudi clubs and Kante's out of contract anyway, so isn't going to do anything for Chelsea's FFP situation.
